While many people know about the real estate market slowing down and the slow down in the economy, many people don't relize that the Myrtle Beach Commercial Real Estate market is following this slow down. Commercial Real estate in Myrtle Beach is heavily dependent on the local economy and tourism. When tourism is down so is the local Myrtle beach economy. Now what this means is there are some excellent oppurtunities for investors interested in commercial real estate.

Many times commerical properties are built for specific purposes and when that purpose has ended it can be difficult to re-rent the commercial space with out a significate amount of up-fit. This creates great situations for investors! Investing in commercial real estate is a lot different than residential in that vacancies take a little longer to fill and banks normally require more money down.
