Michael Benton

Mike entered the Myrtle Beach Real Estate market with a background in the commodity and foreign exchange trading arena working as a principal at a major firm in South Florida for four years. After relocating back to Myrtle Beach in 2003, he quickly became #1 in sales and marketing for one of the top real estate firms in South Carolina. He then expanded that success through joining a team of local developers with whom he became involved in real estate acquisition and development. Most notable projects included Coral Beach Hotel, Sea Mist Hotel, and Coastal Villas next door to Coastal Carolina University Mike oversees all the marketing, management, and quality control issues on his team. He has an extensive background in foreclosures, short sales, luxury homes, and new construction. Mike is invested in contributing to the overall economic growth of the Myrtle Beach community. He is married to Dr. Elizabeth Benton and has daughter, Savanna.
